Budget Announcement
The recent Budget announcement sadly indicated that it is not the beginning of the end for the UK’s economic difficulties, but the start of painfully slow growth and a period of prolonged high unemployment which is estimated to rise to 3 million (10%) by the time Mr. Osborne’s measures take full effect.
What does this mean to businesses?? Often they need to make redundancies in order to promote growth. According to the CIPD overall, a third of employers (32%) expect to cut jobs during the next three months.
